trickle dikkel

Here we are with how it went and not went while dribbling with earth pigments over paper.

drip

dripping mountain

Most paper could not cope and just became dirty, yet the simple drawing paper went how it should have went.
Leaving a river, better said veins. Like the sea leaving the beach.

dripdrop

more to come

Water uncontrollable dripping all over the place, buckling the paper in hills, mountains and valleys.

Background courage.

The veins on paper reflect the veins in the leaf. A sheet off paper with the leaving leaf.

While doing and doing a bit more you get other surprises.
love how the camera interpretative the subject to its own demand.

A decision has been made to create a photo-poetry-book with the title Mestanda.

The book will be for sale at the exhibition and have a selection of the photoworks on display plus some extras.
You will be able to buy it no matter where you are on this planet.

Sometimes things just happen while clearing up, finding bits and pieces, reading old notebooks.
The poem starts in the top left corner and ends next to the photo, hard to read but perhaps that is not needed.
Als je Nederlands spreekt dan kan je elk woord lezen.

You cut and paste and cut some more.

Not even sure where it will go.

Leafy photos made different to create the impression of a totally new forest erasing the old.

GOING ROUND UNTIL YOU COME TO THE CORE

Write poems in their shade
paint or draw
the light in their leafs
forget that we can’t do a thing
about
as we did do
a lot about it

Just two more to go.

Slide 8 trees skipped the 7

If you ever hear me saying something bad about trees, call the ambulance as there will be something seriously wrong with me.
In other words i love trees!
There are not many landscapes without trees, even in the harsh environment of cities you will see trees. Trees make hard edges soft.

slide8PortugalTrees

It is my honest opinion that trees are artists.
In 2013 i discovered this amazing Beech tree at the Gwaun Valley and came to the conclusion that trees are artists.
Creating Land Art with trees is like a collaboration with a diverse group of artists and there is no way you can tell them what to do and how to represent themselves.
Here you can read about trees as artists and meet the amazing artists the Beech tree.

Whenever you tell a tree, you can’t do that, there will be one who will prove you wrong. A tree on the rocks, trees on the old building creeping out of a broken window.

Trees grow tall, trees grow small very small.

Trees leave no footprint, trees leave leafs and take your footprint within them to eat up our vandalising breath.

treeseatingprikkeldraad

So tell me, just tell me how can you own a tree, how can you own growth from a tree.

Well, you plant them and you plant even more TREES to enjoy their artistic approach to life on this planet.

planting a tree
How to perceive beyond

noting more
skinny being in cracked soil

Slide 5 PLANTING TREES

Its all done before
and
it will be done again
to form a pattern
close a circle

tree will outgrow you and me
to leave something, we can’t reach
telling stories nobody reads

time will tell
how we feel
interactive transgression
meaning of nature to clean
that what we leave in a leaf
the counter weight of transactions
showing an image  not made by hand
