In the progress of making a slideshow for the exhibition, sort of powerpoint. The slides are made with photos and text and at times there is a need for some neutral background instead of blinding white.
The camera became a paintbrush with at times good results even from the 230 shots just 5 are suitable.
Fading colours with a high iso
Rainbow effect with water
that didn’t work out but still a great picture with an other rainbow
OK this is not what was expected but what the eyes see the camera shall capture
the beauty being self employed no boss tells you that was not your task, or job description for today nor quality controle
Last week agenda took an unexpected turn, to the watersite.
Experiments with earth and paper had to make space for boats and water.
drops of promo under the tree roots
The promotion material for the art markets are made and ready. Water seems to be the subject of last week even in the promotion.
The framed photo is an old photo made in 2003 with my last analoge camera. A filter was used to create a round frame around the photo and of course a black and white film.
It is an amazing tree standing on the edge of Cleddau River in Wales. Once a ferry was going to the other site, now it is left to do what it likes.
The trees here need to deal with, yep, water as it is a tidal river with brackish water. The tides have washed away the soil, creating an amazing sculpture by showing the strong roots from the trees.
Now a new river flows along my home and soon i will float along in a wooden boat up to some Art Markets.
Still had some time to experiment with my camera in making underwater photos.
The result is odd, but gives a ‘Nacra’ shine as if we are looking in the inside of a shell. It is just the reflection of light in water at a certain angle, showing us that light has a bundle of colours.
A prisma under water bended by movement.
